Re: Full screen but with minimal toolbar?

Thanks.  I tried your suggestion.  At first glance I was excited and thinking this was going to work!!!  The menu was reduced to just workstation.  BUT... then something seemed odd. I got mixed up what vm I was in.  The vm tab list was now truncated and the tab for the active vm was actually scrolled off the list.

Of course, all those toolbar buttons I just don't need were still there wasting space. So somebody at vmware thinks it's just absolutely important to make sure those toolbar buttons are visible no matter what, but not the active vm tab?

Also, I run multiple monitors and this setting applies to all the ws windows.  On one monitor I run a workstation instance with just two vms, and this fix helps.  But the main monitor has many vm instances and this fix is 1 step fwd, 2 steps back in that then I was wasting time click those tiny arrows to scroll my vm tab list back and forth to figure out where I was and where I wanted to go.

I had to remove the setting as overall it was a step backwards in efficiency.

Why can't all the tool bar buttons be moved into the workstation dropdown menu and the label "workstation" itself be reduced to just a drop down arrow?

Vmware, please give me back the top of my screen without having to resort to wasting time with an unpinned toolbar.  Please bring back the WS7 toolbar. Make it an option?
